I’d like to also raise awareness of this free author toolkit about open access books: http://oabooks-toolkit.org - founded by Springer Nature and the University of Glasgow, and hosted by OAPEN.
The toolkit was collaboratively written by a global group of diverse stakeholders – from researchers, publishers and research support to funders and organisations like Jisc and OASPA.
There are over 30 short articles on topics such as:
- What is open access?
- How to choose a publisher
- Copyright and licensing
- Peer review for open access books
- Finding funding
The toolkit is easy to use and understand, with content available for the different stages of the research lifecycle. Alongside the articles, you can find FAQs, a glossary, list of keywords and myth busters.
