Open access book publishing

I’d like to also raise awareness of this free author toolkit about open access books: - founded by Springer Nature and the University of Glasgow, and hosted by OAPEN.

The toolkit was collaboratively written by a global group of diverse stakeholders – from researchers, publishers and research support to funders and organisations like Jisc and OASPA.

There are over 30 short articles on topics such as:

  • What is open access?
  • How to choose a publisher
  • Copyright and licensing
  • Peer review for open access books
  • Finding funding

The toolkit is easy to use and understand, with content available for the different stages of the research lifecycle. Alongside the articles, you can find FAQs, a glossary, list of keywords and myth busters.

Hi Christina - welcome to The Place! Thanks for posting this - looks very useful.
